Just because this is ‘GingerRUNNER.com’ doesn’t mean I ONLY run! In fact, growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I’m pretty sure my blood is pine tree sap and glacier water. I love the outdoors. From camping, to hiking, to climbing, to backpacking. Thanks to Gregory Backpacks and the Baltoro 65, I was able to take my very first 4+ day backpacking adventure into the Washington State Olympic National Forest this last fall.

First of all, the Gregory Baltoro 65 is a beast. Easily one of the most comfortable backpacks I’ve worn thanks to the Response AFS System. It’s extremely durable and was able to fit everything from my tent and sleeping bag, my sleeping pad, clothes and gear, and even all my camera equipment without any problem. I would highly recommend the Baltoro 65 for weekend hiking/backpacking overnight excursions when keeping things light and functional are the priorities. While i did have a couple of nit-picky gripes about the pack, it is my go-to weekender. Gregory’s got this one nailed.

Below is the video that I filmed while I was up there. Enjoy and feel free to share!
